We have recently received an increase in chat reports of this scam. Please stay alert when trading.

Some scammers will agree to a trade, then make last-second changes before you accept. They may remove an item or swap it with a different item that looks similar, hoping you won't notice before confirming.

This type of behavior is considered Trade Deception and is a violation of our Community Guidelines. Users found intentionally misleading others through trade manipulation may face moderation action on their account.

Warning Signs:

• The other user repeatedly edits the trade
• An item is removed just before confirmation
• An item is swapped for a similar-looking or lower-value item
• The user pressures or rushes you to accept quickly

How to Stay Safe:

• Always review the final trade before accepting
• Double-check every item and quantity
• Never let anyone pressure you into confirming a trade
• Cancel the trade if anything changes unexpectedly
• Report and block users who attempt to scam or deceive you

Taking a few extra seconds to review a trade can prevent you from losing valuable items.
