Introducing Dynamic Token Values
Token Values haven't always kept up, and in a market as fast as Baddies, an outdated value is a problem. So we're changing how they work.
Baddies Token Values are going dynamic. Rather than sitting on one number until a Value Staff Manager updates it, many items will now follow the market and show a range, like 13k – 15k.
What's a range?
It's what an item is going for right now. Any price inside the range is a fair deal, so you don't have to land on one exact number.
You might also see a ~ in front of a value, like ~80k. That means prices are jumping around, so instead of a wide range, we show our best guess.
On the Value Changes page, ranges also come with a small dot that shows how confident we are:
- 🟢 Very confident
- 🟡 Fairly confident
- 🔴 Rough guide, prices are moving fast

Which items will change?
- Collector items: always a fixed value. These only change by hand.
- High and mid tier items: in some cases, a Value Staff Manager reviews the change before it goes live.
- Everything else: mostly updates on its own.
People are still in charge. Our team can put a freeze on the system in case of anything that could heavily impact the market.
Can people mess with it?
We have safeguards in place to keep Token Values fair for everyone, and if something doesn't look right, it gets checked.
What's new on the site
- Token Values may show as a range on item pages and cards.
- The Value Changes page now has tabs for All, Trade Value and Token Value. Demand and trend updates show up in both, since they're about the item itself.
